The Photographs
Wayne Lambert's work is included in four series: Mexico, Purepecha, Southwest and Rocky Mountains, and Polaroid (Type 52). In this website a selection of photographs is shown from each series. All of the photographs (except the Polaroid) are archival pigment-ink photographs on cotton rag paper printed by the photographer (see Types of Photogaphs). Each print is signed, titled, and numbered in an edition of 25. The photographs are corner-mounted on 4-ply white museum board and are over-matted with the same board. As shown above, the photographs are also available conservation-framed in black wood with UV-absorbing acrylic glazing.
As an indication of how well the photographs show, the above photograph is of an exhibit which included both platinum/palladium and pigment-ink photographs. The upper right photograph in the near group of four 8 x 10 photographs and the two 4 x 5 photographs at the far right are pigment-ink photographs. The others are platinum/palladium photographs.
